FAQs about window art ...

How much does it cost?

It will depend on the size of your window and what sort of design you want. If you get in touch with a picture of your window and the measurements of it, I am happy to provide a free consultation and quote. Once the quote is agreed, I will then provide a sketch of the design.

How long does it take for you to do?

Again, it depends on the size of the window and how intricate the design is but I really try to finish one window in half a day’s work.

Do you work on the inside or outside of the window?

I try to work on the inside of the window as much as possible, as this is for ease of regular window cleaning and weather damage. If the design is highly intricate or uses a lot of colour however, I would use both sides of the window.

What do you use to create the window artwork?

I use a semi-permanent medium, POSCA pens. They are an acrylic paint pen that dries matt on the window once the design is complete.

How long does it last for?

As long as you want! If you take good care of it and basically not touch it, it could be there forever.

How do I remove it?

Don’t worry, I will never be offended if you remove my work - and hopefully the main reason would be that you’re having more window art created!! But to remove your design simply soak the work by spraying it heavily with window cleaner then scrape the paint with a loyalty/bank card. Please ensure that you place a drop cloth beneath where you are cleaning to protect any flooring.
