FAQs about window art

Catt Standen, an Artist from Worcester.
-
Nature-themed illustrations that are inspired by fairy tales. The art on your window will be one of 10 installations that form part of Wychavon’s ‘Once Upon a Trail’. This is a family-friendly trail and children who go on the trail will be given an activity booklet to collect words that are hidden the art. They will use these words to write their own story.
-
· The trail will drive footfall into and around the town
· It encourages children to get creative and celebrate reading
· The art will visually enhance the town centre
-
We will give posters to participating businesses to display on their tills. The trail will be promoted on Wychavon District Council’s Facebook page and Worcestershire Vale & Spa’s Facebook page, and in local newspapers. Droitwich Heritage Centre and Droitwich Library will help us to promote the trail. It would be super helpful if you could help us promote the trail too.

Use a very dry soft cloth to spot clean the area that needs cleaning. Avoid scrubbing or using anything wet as the paint will come off.
-
If this happens to a large area of the window art, please contact Gemma at gemma.ranford@wychavon.gov.uk and Catt Standen at catt.mstanden@gmail.com
The damage will then be assessed before Catt comes to fix the artwork.
-
Simply soak the work by spraying it heavily with window cleaner or warm soap water, then gently scrape the paint off with a loyalty card. Please ensure that you place a drop cloth beneath where you are cleaning to protect any windowsills/flooring.
